LOGLINE: A gifted chandler finds a permanent home and family when she befriends a distressed, adolescent boy and accepts the mental illness of her mother.
Sendra Edding secretly moves to a small, Nebraska town within miles of the mental institution where her mother lives – a mother she has not seen since she was nine years old.
Using candle-making as therapy, she befriends her new community of grocery store co-workers and Jessie Ryan, a distressed 13-year-old boy whose mother, Pam, battles mental issues of her own. Their shared circumstances compound when Sendra and Jessie’s father, Tom, start to fall for one another. The characters' individual searches for peace from their pasts lead to an unexpected but familial ending.
This script holds a top 1% "recommend" coverage rating and has earned awards or recognition in seven film industry competitions.

Synopsis for the pilot "Model Behavior:" While investigating the death of a famous fashion model, an ambitious, deaf reporter and his opinionated interpreter risk death exposing what looks to be an intricate trail of nefarious crimes all linked to a ruthless billionaire whose father is a sitting U.S. senator.
While the pilot focuses on the murder of Crystal Collins, a popular runway model and influencer, the series will focus on a wide variety of unsolved deaths associated with global enterprises subsidiaries - from aviation to art to athletic clubs - within the TaykeOver Conglomerate owned by the ruthless billionaire Marion Tayke.

Synopsis for the pilot "Blue Heron:" Savannah Ott, a troubled teenager and rebellious environmental activist entices three of her friends try to blow up a nuclear power plant's substation owned by Midwest Power.
Their botched attempt creates havoc for the utility, its executives and employees, a local sheriff and her father, the mayor. Jaci Hewitt and local reporter Molly Morgan battle to expose and communicate the truth in ways that expose affairs, the power of politics, and the human condition for both customers and employees impacted by such things as electrocutions, storms, generation and transmission equipment failures..

Nora is an insecure teenager who has celebrated her birthday at the cemetery for the past three years. Anne is a frumpy widow who agrees to substitute for a local high school English teacher.
After a misunderstanding about Nora’s cousin, who killed himself on her birthday, the two form a friendship over lunch, loneliness, and a love for lemon.

THE EXCHANGE
A short film
Logline: He is homeless, has lost everything, and the one valuable thing he finds, he gives away.
Once an aspiring business executive in a big city with a beautiful fiancé and high-rise apartment, Joseph Gardien now lives under a bridge and sleeps in a tent next to addicts and society's forgotten.
Following breakfast from an alley dumpster, he comes upon a discarded jewelry box with a valuable broch inside. He could take it to a pawn shop up the block but decides to give it to a homeless woman and her child. His gesture is atonement for his past revealed through a series of flashbacks depicting his childhood, the girlfriend he killed, and a veteran who befriended him.
Initially a short story, "The Exchange" placed 16th in Writer’s Digest's 2022 Short, Short Story Competition.
